about me

My interest in design began at a very early age. Spending my first thirteen years living in Charleston, SC provided an amazing opportunity to discover different aspects in design from historic to modern. However, the historic houses of Charleston, like the Aiken-Rhett House or the Nathaniel Russell House, have always been my favorite and will remain close to my heart. With my father who is a builder and my mother who is a teacher, I was raised on construction sites and helping with endless craft projects.

After moving to Destin, FL to begin high school, I started working at Resort Interiors putting together furniture packages and finish selections for clients' vacation homes. After experiencing this different aspect of design, my interests grew. Also, this gave me an opportunity to spend more time with my grandmother, whose passion for antiques, especially those of early America, continued my learning and love for furniture and design.

I then continued my education at Auburn University. After four wonderful years, I achieved a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design and a minor in Business. From there, I accepted a position at 2WR/HolmesWilkins Architects. This past year, I have practiced working on high-end corporate design, tenant fit-ups, as well as educational and military projects working one-on-one with clients to assess their needs and desires.
